We are very pleased to announce that Dr. Artee Chaudhary became IQLS consultant focal point for India for the project ‘Laboratory Quality Management Systems Training and Mentoring in India’ funded by The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), USA(200-2015-M-62126).

Dr. Artee Chaudhary got her doctorate through work on Molecular virology of Hepatitis virus, have expertise in Molecular diagnosis, epidemiology and phylogenetic analysis of viral disease pathogens such as HCV, HBV, HIV, Dengue, JE, Avian Influenza, Rabies, Chikungunya, H1N1.

She worked as Microbiologist at Global Disease Detection India Centre (GDD-IC) Delhi of CDC, USA for two years, working on laboratory aspects of epidemic prone disease outbreaks in the country. She also worked as Consultant Microbiologist at Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme, National Center for Disease Control, Delhi for three years, monitoring the functioning of State Referral Lab network under IDSP; and was the Logistics Coordinator for IDSP Laboratory Strategic Plan at NCDC, Delhi. She had  been associated with the Global Foodborne-infection Network (GFN) pilot project of GDD-IC(Global Disease Detection-India Centre), and was a key person in establishing Nucleic Acid Testing lab at one of the apex government institute in Quality in National Institute of Biology, Noida.
