Following several workshops and training sessions on External Quality Assessment, Ms. Vivian Fensham and Mr. Arnaud Orelle conducted a two-week practical training for the newly created national LMA Proficiency Testing program; on EQA program organization and management and how to prepare simulated specimens for food, water and veterinary pathogens.
The first survey of the Laboratory of Ministry of Agriculture (LMA) EQA program to be launched after the training in the coming days.
The management of this EQA will be held by the LMA EQA team, using the documents (SOP, Policies and Procedures, Protocols) and Web interface developed by IQLS.
The workshop was funded by Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) through CH2MHILL.
