From June 27th to July 6th 2016, IQLS is organizing for the Laboratory of Ministry of Agriculture (LMA) from Tbilisi, Georgia, a Workshop on External Quality Assessment (EQA) Aims and Goals.
The goals of the workshopwere numerous:
– Review the International Proficiency Testing programme(s) needed for LMA (and helping them for registration)
– Present all the key components of a National EQA Unit to develop a National PT program
– Prepare the implementation of a National EQA Unit and organize the first survey for Ministry of Agriculture Laboratory network
– Develop the technical specifications of the future database to be used for PT results and data management.
Mr. Arnaud Orelle, as EQA Program Coordinator is in charge of all scientific aspects of the workshop and of the coordination, when Ms. Aazam Zandi, Chief Technologist Officer, is in charge of all technical specifications and development of the interface.
The workshop was funded by Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) through CH2MHILL.
