IQLS missions:
– To explain the model of Laboratory Quality Management System (LQMS) and 12 Quality System Essentials (QSE) as a systematic approach to ensure delivery of accurate and reliable examination results in timely manner, its importance and benefits
– To describe major elements of each QSE, link them with the laboratory path of workflow, and outline strategies for implementation of individual QSEs as they pertain to the roles and the responsibilities of laboratory technologists and technicians
– Discuss major approaches and tools for assessment and mentoring of quality management activities
in order for the attendees to understand and apply the concept of stepwise implementation of LQMS, and demonstate kowledge and skills in using the WHO Laboratory Quality Stepwise Implementation (LQSI) tool in their daily practice.
