Training of trainers on Laboratory Quality Management Systems (QMS) in Moldova

In April 2024, IQLS experts were selected to conduct a one-week training for local trainers on Laboratory Quality Management Systems (QMS) for the​State University of Medicine and Pharmacy  “N. Testemitanu” (USMF) in Chisinau​.

Our experts, Dr. Arsen Zakaryan and Ms. Zaruhi Davtian trained 20 participants and covered 17 main QMS modules, such as Documentation, Equipment Management, Internal Quality Control (IQC), Quality indicators, Audits and more. All participants showed strong engagement and expressed their appreciation of the training by rating the sessions with very high satisfaction survey score of 9.8 out of 10.

Participants also showed positive knowledge increase through pre- and post-test scores, reflecting the effectiveness of the training.

After the session, a report with short and long term recommendations to continuously improve QMS in the Moldovan public health laboratories was provided.
