Dr. Antoine Pierson, IQLS President, and Mr. Ken Ugwu, Senior Biocontainment Engineer, Public Health Agency of Canada, spent an action-packed week assisting two BSL3 laboratories in Kazakhstan in launching the activities for:
- Biosafety certification
- Quality management and accreditation
The BSL3 laboratories’ aim is to complete their biosafety certification and quality management and accreditation in two years. To help them reach this goal, IQLS will provide the laboratories with comprehensive follow-up services over the next 18-24 months.
