Dr. Laura RUMEBE went to Phnom Penh to support the Central Media Making Laboratory (CMML), both technically and in order to prepare for ISO 9001:2015 certification.
CMML produces blood culture bottles (adult/paediatric) and more than 15 different types of agar plates and tube for bacteriological biochimical identification.
Laura also met different certification agencies, visited the farm where sheep blood suplies are coming from and participated to a mentoring visit to one of the regional laboratories using the medias prepared by CMML (Kampong Cham hospital).
Another support on-site visit is planed in March 2017.
