As part of the collaboration between IQLS, the NCDC and the CDC, Dr. Cécile Guillerme travelled to Ranchi, Jharkhand State, India, in August 2017.
A training course on the production of culture media was organized for a week. Theoretical courses associated with practical applications have been proposed. The aim of this training was the production of good quality culture media, according to adapted protocols, with good traceability. Culture media quality is an indispensable prerequisite for the realization of good bacteriological diagnosis.
Support and follow-up for the implementation of the plans of actions developed by the various services following the previous training sessions were then carried out for one week. This project follows two previous trainings on biosafety and on quality management in laboratories organised by IQLS.
