With the support of the U.S. CDC, under the Regional Diagnostic Strengthening initiative in Southeast Asia, IQLS is organizing a webinar series on biosafety and biosecurity. It is a three-part webinar series focusing on the essential elements and principles of laboratory biosafety and biosecurity.
On July 17, 3-5pm ICT (Bangkok Time), the second session on Fundamentals of Laboratory Biosecurity will be held. It will be an interactive session covering the essentials of laboratory biosecurity, implications of high-consequence research in the context of biosecurity, and steps involved in biosecurity risk management. We will also review the process of establishing and integrating biosecurity programme elements at an institutional level.
