In collaboration with WHO AFRO (AFRO) and HQ (WHO), Mr. Arnaud Orelle participated in a simulation exercise about a hypothetical avian influenza outbreak occurring in Northern Cote d’Ivoire. Laboratory specialists and epidemiologists from both the animal (Ministère des Ressources Animales et Halieutiques – MIRAH) and human (Ministère de la Santé et Hygiène Publique – MSHP) sectors participated in the exercise, and it was highly valued by all participants. More simulation exercises will be organized in both Ghana and the Cote d’Ivoire.

The workshop was funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) through World Health Organization (WHO)
