Mr. Raymond D. Fatchu is a National Lab Specialist Consultant for our CDC project in Ghana. His role includes coordination of laboratory network, IQLS activities at all levels, ISO9001 certification and ISO15189 of public health laboratories.

 Raymond holds an Honors Bachelor in medical laboratory technology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi; and a Master of Science in public health monitoring and evaluation from the University of Ghana, Legon.

He is an experienced medical laboratory scientist and program manager who has over eight years experience working with diverse clinical laboratory testing services, and the implementation of quality management systems and improvement, on both national and internationally funded projects and programs. 

As a resident mentor, he led the first public-sector medical laboratory in Ghana to ISO 15189 accreditation. He has as a laboratory quality/accreditation consultant assessed and provided technical assistance to several medical laboratories in both public and private laboratories throughout Ghana. Raymond has trained and contributed to the human resource development of laboratory quality managers, laboratory managers and laboratory scientists across the country.

Raymond is fluent in English and can speak some French. He is good with data, likes to read and is result oriented.
