Joanne LETCHFORD

Ms. Joanne Letchford has more than 20 consecutive years of proven expertise working in the field of laboratory quality management systems in the microbiology laboratory, including 12 years of professional experience in laboratory strengthening in Cambodia, including implementing international quality standard ISO15189: 2012 in Cambodian government laboratories. She was also the country lead of the DMDP (Diagnosis Microbiology Development Project) team, for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency-funded project ‘Strengthening Pathogen Surveillance in Cambodia’, 2013-2022, aiming at enhancing the laboratory system and developing its sustainability.

Since 2022, she has relocated to Australia and is providing her expertise within ongoing projects in Cambodia, as well as other countries.
