Ashot STEPANYAN is Scientific Translator at IQLS, located in Yerevan. He is in charge of providing timely and quality translation of documents as well as interpretation support during meetings or events within the framework of the GLLP program implementation in Armenia and Moldova.

He completed his education at the Yerevan State Linguistic University after graduating with a BA and MA in Humanities.

Ashot started his career at the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant as a Technical Translator/Interpreter, and has worked in organizations such as Pacific North West National Laboratory, the US Department of Energy, MSF France, EU Funded Twinning Project, MACS Energy & Water, and others. He also holds a Project Management Extension Course certificate issued by the American University of Armenia. Throughout his career, Ashot has gained professional experienced in many fields, including nuclear engineering, oil and gas, medicine, law, finance, and physical protection and security.

Ashot was born in the town of Armavir, and apart from his mother tongue (Armenian), he also speaks Russian and English. He is especially fond of cats (and animals in general), metal music and travel.
