IQLS aims to assist CH2M HILL as DTRA’s Prime Contractor to develop, implement and transition to the laboratory networks of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC) and the Laboratory of the Ministry of Agriculture (LMA) a sustainable Quality Management System (QMS) while furthering the CBEP objectives. IQLS will assist CH2M HILL and the CBEP Georgia stakeholders (NCDC and LMA) to support efforts that will enhance the prospects for long-term sustainment of the DTRA-developed Bio-surveillance System facilities and capabilities in Georgia. IQLS is providing technical support under three thematic areas. • Area 1 – Assistance to the Business Development/fundraising Unit (BDU) • Area 2 – Quality Management Systems (QMS) implementation • Area 3 – Proficiency testing and EQA program strategy

Consulting services on Quality Management System for the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Georgia, CH2M Hill The consulting services include : - Meetings with the stakeholders to review National Center for Diseases Control's plan and vision for a Quality Management system (QMS) for NCDC's laboratory network and make recommendations to estblish a robust QMS for the network - The review of the outcomes of the ISO9001 audit and provide recommendations for the next steps - Provide recommendations regarding the NCDC's Business Development Unit activities - Perform an assessment at Lugar Center using the Laboratory Quality Stepwise Implementation (LQSI) tool - The organization of a workshop on Quality Management System  implementation
